Each session is designed to address your specific business challenges. We’ll discuss your current situation, clarify your goals, and outline actionable next steps.
Our meeting will run for 30 or 60 minutes, depending on what you've booked. We'll use Google Meet, and cameras can be on or off – the choice is yours!
We'll kick off this time with a straightforward conversation about your business, allowing me to get up to speed on the basics. The majority of the meeting will take place as an “Ask Me Anything”-style Q&A: you'll ask me any business-focused questions you like, and I will provide the most helpful, insightful answers I can manage with my 30+ years of experience. :)
We'll address federal guidelines and regulations that are relevant to your business case; for Florida residents, I can also share a wealth of knowledge on state-specific laws. For out-of-state clients, I will help you understand the structures and processes you'll need to navigate at the state level, and I'll also help you understand what to do/where to go next.
After our appointment, I'll follow up with a tailored email that recaps our meeting and provides actionable next steps for your business, based on our personal discussion. -
You don’t need to prepare extensively, but it will be important for you to have a clear idea of what you’d like to focus on.
If you have specific questions, documents, or financial data, feel free to upload them in the booking portal intake form and bring them along to our session for review. -
That’s okay! Many of my clients start with an idea, or simply the desire to explore entrepreneurship. I can help you brainstorm, identify your strengths, and outline the steps to take your idea from concept to reality.

All consultations are held virtually (using video conferencing software) to make it easy and convenient for you to connect, no matter where you're located.

At Mom’s Biz Tips, we embrace flexibility in scheduling. You're welcome to book the next available session… even if that session is within the next hour. We value your time and the spirit of spontaneity – some of the best business ideas are born in the moment!
That said, the preparation time before our meeting can influence its structure. If you schedule in advance and provide clear goals along with relevant documents, I can review them beforehand; this allows me to come prepared with tailored insights and strategies for a focused discussion.
For spontaneous bookings, our session will be more dynamic and interactive, focusing on real-time brainstorming and addressing your immediate questions.

I have in-depth knowledge of federal regulations and, as a Florida resident, I’m an expert on this state’s specific requirements as well.
For clients from other states, I’m committed to helping you find and access the guidelines, resources, and information specific to their state’s requirements.
I will never provide you false, misleading, or half-baked information; if a question or topic veers outside my territory of expertise, I will let you know. I will also gladly provide guidance on connecting with a specialized tax professional for further support if necessary. -
Each consultation includes a detailed follow-up email with actionable next steps. If you’d like additional support or guidance, you’re welcome to book follow-up sessions as needed.

Your privacy is absolutely a top priority and I treat all shared information with strict confidentiality. We’ve invested in robust measures to protect your data, ensuring a secure and top-quality consultation experience.

We understand that you may need to cancel your appointment – life happens!
If something comes up, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours advance notice via email (momsbiztips@gmail.com). Doing so will ensure full refund of your $50 deposit (or re-application of the refund to a future booking).
If your cancellation is made within the 24-hour window leading up to your scheduled appointment, you will forfeit the $50 deposit made to secure the time slot. This forfeited deposit cannot be re-applied to a future appointment.
